order of filtration cartridges?

Is there an order the carbon, di, and sediment filters need to be in. I have a kent ro/di unit. TIA.....Tina

the sediment pre filter is the first stage, carbon is 2nd and 3rd stages, the RO membrane 4th and DI 5th.

If you have a pressure tank for RO water storage you'll likely also have a "taste and odor" cartridge (which contains GAC) between the tank and your faucet.

Some of the mis-configured systems available from the large auction website have a taste and odor GAC cartridge after the DI - this cartridge should be removed - the water is as clean as your system can make it after it passes through the DI stage.
