Order to add fish

1 midas blenny
maybe firefish
and a pistol shrimp with goby pair

What order do you think is right, when putting them in the tank?
(ex: clowns first, ect)

Subtract the percula, your tank is not large enough. Then you can add the rest of the fish in any order. If you try (I suggest you don't) A. percula, you are done. Any other fish will be killed.

I see no problems with these fish together in a 26g tank. I have a similar stocking in my 33 gallon and have had no problems whatsoever.

I have two A Percula and there are other less aggressive species doing just fine in my sized tank. I fail to understand how they will "kill everything" in a tank of your size.

As for stocking, stock the least aggressive species first. Goby, the firefish, then two percs, and then the midas blenny, imo would be the best order to add them...

The problem is not now. The problem is when the clowns have sexually differentiated and wish to spawn. They can then become very aggressive. I had the problem in a 200 gallon tank and removed the clowns who are now happy in my frag tank.

Thats pushing the bio-limit of your aquarium.

2 clowns
1 midas
1 firefish
1 shrimp goby

I say drop a clown or the Midas.
The 33 gallon tank is 20% larger!

I forgot to mention - I will have a sump. Just a 10g though...

so it will technically be a 36g system.. does that change anything?

With clown fish, once sexually differentiated, there is an implied territory which is either all or a portion of your aquarium. Once they start breeding, and they will, they defend that portion of water against all comers. If the implied territory is ALL of your aquarium, the other fish will have problems. It is not a bioload issue, although you would be pushing that as well.

I have a pair of true perculas, with 2 clown gobies and a jawfish and don't have any problems (24 gallon AquaPod). I've had the clowns for 2 years, although they haven't spawned yet.

I suspect that I don't have any territorial issues because the gobies and jawfish don't swim around in the tank (gobies sit around on the rocks, and the jawfish has its burrow).

i'd say you'll be fine.. i'd add the firefish first though.. a pair of small percs aren't going to kill anything except maybe each other if they are not correctly paired

Small perculas are not sexually differentiated. Until they are, there can be no pairing.

Snorvich is right. If they breed your in trouble. Try just adding one until you get a larger tank and trust me you will want a larger tank. Then just add a smaller one then you have and they will pair up. I would go firefish, goby then perc.

i had a trio of ocellaris in a 30 gallon along with a scooter, clown goby everyting was great until a pair formed then they killed everything i tried adding other fish but didn.t work so i just quit adding fish that's all that is in the tank and the ocellaris is supposedly the least aggressive.

Well ocellaris is on the low side of aggression. However for those giving advice to the contrary, I suggest that they simply do what they are suggesting and then they can find out for themselves. It is always amusing to me that people with no real experience on a subject suddenly develop such a high level of expertise.
