Ordered a Gigantea, got this little guy.

I'm thinking of calling them out on it. I also ordered a few other things that arrived in great shape especially from Diver's Den. Both orders were packed very well.

Not sure why, but they didn't pack the Kole Tang either with the liveaquaria order. Which is a pain, hate doing things separately after being all setup for it this morning.

Regarding the Gig, at least it is in good shape without any tears. I'm giving it a prophylactic mini Cipro treatment in the coffee cup for a couple hours before placing him in a fully cycled QT with EBAY leds. It is sticky and attached.

I recently made an order with liveaquaria as well and a fairy wrasse (Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura) was missing from the order when it shipped in. Apparently it was on back order and I was told it'll take at least two weeks before I receive it. They said that they can't update the availability quick enough sometimes that a few orders come in when they run out of them. Acceptable. However they never changed it on the website, it remains "IN STOCK", and I guess I find that to be really odd? It's almost been two weeks now.

Liveaquaria saw the pics and credited the amount back. They also informed me kindly thats its stressed in the photo and needs care. Zero issues, great customer service as usual.

The kole tang wasn't shipped because they didn't have a healthy one in stock. Separate shipment at no extra charge. Still fairly spot on even though its Petco owned. For example each of the female lyrential anthias had its own shipping bag.

The gigantea is doing ok. Getting it acclimated to the light, doesn't seem to contracting, only once to clear. Mouth looks ok. Not going to treat yet unless it shows some stress.

Dang, everyone is so picky these days. It was close to the size you ordered and was fairly healthy yet still complain. Thats as bad as the person that ordered a green hammer and got a green hammer but the pic showed it more blue and complained that it wasnt a blue hammer even though the description said it was green.

Sorry, just ranting

It was not healthy, they even stated that without any prompting from my end! Once they saw the photo, zero issues giving credit back. They even asked for updates regarding its health even though I got credited. They even agreed immediately that it was too small... I spend a good amount with them from tank setup until now, I'm sure they see that when making these decisions.

On that note, I expect nems to require treatment after shipping. They are effectively a wholesale operation. Have another thread started on treatment.
