Agreed. There's plenty of threads in the Vendor Experience forum that mention non sponsors, in fact, most of them do.

As long as you're not pumping up a company that you're affiliated with I believe it's ok :D

Yup. I bought 2 before my 180 gallon cracked and they were doing VERY well. I had them for exactly 1 month before my tank cracked. They lost a few legs during shipping, but while I had them they started to regrow their legs.
 
The package with the Basket Starfish got held up, they say it might come tomorrow. :furious::furious::furious::furious::mad2:

I got one as a hitcher on a gorg. I really wish I had spent more time on specialized care as he dismantled at about 10 months. I assume after slowly starving. Just be prepared to take care of it.

Nice. That sucks. Yeah, I know. I kept 2 of them before like I said above and loved having and feeding them. I just hope they arrive live and well.
 
Just having two for a month isn't really considered successfully keeping them, IMO. What do you plan on feeding them? I had a guy come and speak to my reef club who has kept many of them in his NPS system for YEARS. They apparently have a very specific diet. Want me to see if I can find his contact for you perhaps?

I know. But my tank cracked and a lot of things died including the Basket Starfish. Home made fish food. That would be great if you can find his contact for me.
 
Sounds like he's talking about Chuck Stottlemire. If you follow this link you can see a pic of his basket star and feather star. There's pics of other ones around the web you have to search a lot though.
