It's all about the flow
This coral made it onto the captive frag market about 5 years ago; does anyone have a photo of their grown out colony? Please share photos and experiences with this sometimes tricky Acropora.

Here's a photo of the coral in question. This is mine after about 9 months under a 250 watt DE halide.

Mr. Pluto, i love that growth!!! I keep high flow to get my corals to do that because i love the look of a healthy thick clustered acro. Skinny long branches dont look good to me at all :)

This is mine. It grows relatively fast in my dirty tank. I find that it has whiter body with brighter light.

Don't know if it is the original Ice Fire but I got mine in 2006 and over the last year is taking off. We split a mini colony 3 ways and I was the only one to keep it alive.
