Ornate Leopard Wrasse Male and Female

Just wanted to make a post about these fish. I have been looking for these for quite some time. Yesterday i finally made the punch because they both were eating mysis in the LFS. I did an acclimation to match SG and carefully placed them in the tank. It was as if nothing happened and they were swimming around picking on the rocks. I waited about an hour and fed a variety of foods and they both went after the mysis rather quickly! I am very thrilled and thinking positive about them thriving in my system.

I have other pod eaters and want to provide them with a healthy consistent diet of live foods. what do people recommend as far as pods? I think i may start to farm rotifers and phyto so i can dose it in the tank. are there any other species of pods i should consider putting in my sump/DT?

If they are eating prepared food the pods will be a nice supplement but I wouldn't be too concerned with it

so i honesty am not worried about the wrasses... but i do have a blue stripe pipefish... (which alse destroys mysis... which is awesome!) and i really love that fish. its my oldest fish and i know he does go beast mode on pods at night... lol but i also have a dragon face pipefish which is constantly picking ... i would just be worried that my pods would depleate with the new wrasses... but i suppose i may just be worrying about nothing... just in case i will be adding a few floating farms of live rubble in the return section that i shake up every so often to pump the pods into the DT

Well the pipefish would make me concerned too... I think culturing rotifers and phytoplankton would be a good idea on second thought
