Osmolator 3155 packed it in... After 10 years

I wanted to give a huge kudos to Tunze. My Osmolator 3155 just packed it in after around 7 years of flawless service. This is pretty much the only piece of equipment that I've never had to replace or worry about throughout the years.

It seems it's the optical sensor as k the high level shutoff float works, and the pump runs when I unplug and replug the unit.

Again, kudos. I'll definitely buy another.

I would be happy to take a look at it, it is possible it just needs a new sensor or the pump is bad.

10 years and the pump still works? Roger told me they only have like 3 years life if used with Ro/di water only and 1-2 years if run with Kalk. ; Mine did run 3 years and still going (the pump)

The life varies greatly, it is a brush motor with an o ring seal between the shaft and motor, the seal failing is what kills them and a lot depends on the cleanliness of the water, any additives, quality of the seal and shaft, etc.
