Osmolator 3155

I just hooked up my 3155 and I seem to have a different problem then most of the others. When I plug in the power to the pump it just keeps pumping water, it completely submerged the optical sensor. I'm using the 2 rail setup, I can stop the pump by picking up on the saftey switch but other then that the pump just runs. The power supply is also set at 9v. I have the sensors in my basement sump were there is very little current. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Clean the optical sensor with some white vinegar and a non-abrasive cloth to remove any residue from the manfacturing process. This is a common problem, the oils repel the water.

Hot soapy water works as well. New plastics always repel water.

Thanks for the reply's. I cleaned it over the weekend and it's been perfect since.
