Osmolator 3155

I was having problems with my osmolator running the water level past the sensor and setting off my high level alarm in the last week of december which I posted on this site. I soaked my sensor overnight and it worked fine untill two days ago when it started doing the same thing again. I again soaked the sensor in vinegar and It worked perfectly yesterday. I woke up this morning and the water level is below the sensor but the controller is giving the green light saying the level is fine. I unplug the power and then plug it back in and it flashes the yellow light, runs a few seconds and then shuts off giving me the green light even though the water level is still below the sensor. I have added no new electronic devices in my home or to my tank and the osmolator has run fine for over two years. In fact I have another osmolator running on another tank in the same room that has run with no problems for over a year. What do I do now? Thanks.

My guess is that the optic sensor or the related capacitor is failing. If you send it in I can repair it, it would be about $30 most likely.
