Osmolator AC adapter broken

Hey Roger-
My Osmolator 3155 AC power adapter is broken. It only works when I wiggle it in slowly or put it in at a angle. It was working like that for the past 6 months. Its no longer working after I unplug it. I need a new one ASAP. I do not mind paying for it. I will PM you with my address. Thanks

It may not be the power supply. To start the diagnosis I would open the controller and check that the socket is not corroded and that their is good contact with the transformer plug. Also check the plug for corrosion. You can order it on Tunze.com, part 5012.010. They are also available at any electronics store (radio shack) I would buy a 1000mA 9V DC, tip positive, 2.5 by 5mm tip power supply.

My tunze adapter is 11v 1600ma. Does that make a difference. I picked up a 9v 1500ma.

That will work, it just has to be at least 9V and as much as 12V and at least 800mA.
