Osmolator controller not working...

Hi Roger,
First of all I am a huge fan of the Osmolator, and Tunze products in general. I bought my first Osmolator about a year ago, and liked it so much I bought another one for my frag tank.
The second one I bought was used and when I recieved it, it does not work. I believe it is the controller that is not working properly.

What is the best/cheapest way for me to get this fixed? I planned to hook it up to my APEX controller using the break-out box, but I was told with the optical sensor that this will not work properly.

Any advice will be helpful. Thanks a ton!

I don't know anything about the Apex, so I cannot help you there. I would suggest sending in the complete Osmolator with a brief description of the problem and return address/phone number, I could not even begin to guess at cost of repair or nature of the problem without knowing more and running some tests but the range of cost would be $25- $160. I would give you an estimate before we did any work.
