Osmolator Display Blinking Green Light

Roger (or anyone else who may know),

The green light on my Osmolator is blinking constantly. It is not a steady blink. It blinks at different intervals.

I noticed that the light stops blinking when my Nanostream is unplugged. The sensor for the osmolator is near the pump, but on the suction side. The water surface isn't too agitated where the sensor is located.

As far as I can tell, this isn't impacting the operation. The level is held constant by several top offs per day.....maybe as high as 20/day..??..

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Mark

P.S. The magnet mountings worked great for my sensors. I was able to position both as high as I wanted. I'm worried a snail will eventually climb up to the safety sensor causing the alarm to go off. I would think this is inevitable.

I would move the pump, I think the turbulence is affecting the sensor. Yes, snail can be a problem, you might try to shield the sensors with a PVC pipe cut in half lengthwise.
