Everything works apart from the pump. It's not making any noise whatsoever - the thing is completely dead. It's only been running about 6 weeks. What can I do?

Your delaer should be able to arrange a new pump, I can't help much since you are not in the USA. You should be covered under warranty, normallly you send it to your dealer and they replace it and file the papers/ return it to Tunze.

Roger, MD told me that "all returns/warranty is processed through Tunze directly"......

Within the US yes, but I don't ship outside the US, I'll give you the pump but I am not paying shipping outside the US.

I don't mind paying for the shipping. I really need the pump though so please let me know what needs to be done. If you can work out the FedEx charges let me know and f you accept PayPal, even better but I can always phone you my CC info. :)

Just a question- shipping will definitely cost more than the pump. Do you need anything from MD and I can send them the pump to include in your order? If not, it is honestly probably cheaper to buy an Osmolator pump in Japan, they should be under $20 and Japan has an exclusive distributor.

Actually I'm going to buy a UV Sterilizer from them and some other assorted stuff so up to you. I don't mind paying the $20 for the shipping it's a PITA. As for getting the pump in Japan, my whole tank roon is set at US voltage so the Japanese pump might be underpowered.

I will arrange it that it goes out with your Marine Depot order, just be sure to mention it to who you order from and I'll call them and OK it.

If you want to buy one they do stock them so that shouldn't be an issue, they will probably take the warranty one from their stock as well and I'll just replace it.
