osmolator help

i bought a new osmolator and got it set up. turned it on and as soon as the waterlevel hits the operating sensor it turns green for a couple of sec then the pump turns on and add additional water. water passes the middle of the pointed cone and keeps pumping. is my sensor busted? sensor is vertical with tip to the bottom and cable leading upwards. tried manually dipping the end if it will shut the pump but no luck.

New sensors, like any new plastic, repel water. If their are microbubbles in the sump it is much worse. Wash the sensor in warm soapy water, rinse it well and dry it with a soft, clean towel, also, if you give it a few days, provided their aren't a ton of bubbles, it should fix itself.
