Osmolator Installation ?'s

Thanks for your time.

I received my Tunze Osmolator Universal 3155 today. I have some questions about installation:

1) Is it acceptable to mount the controler inside the cabinet? Or should the controler be mounted external to the cabinet?

2) How much head will the pump handle?

The pump can take up to 10ft of head. The controller can be mounted in any dry location. If you have a sump that is open and a small cabinet than the answer would be no. Water damage is not covered under warranty nor is salt creep damage so use your best judgement. If you wouldn't put a computer there, don't put the osmolator there.

Thanks for putting it that way Roger .Thats the best location advice I have seen . I now know where to put my osmolator at...in the closet next to the tank .
