Hey people. I just got a osmolator today and I was going to go ahead and install it. I have a question in regards to the polarity of the wires of this device. From the controller itself there is a black wire, and a black wire with a red stripe. I'm thinking the wire with the red stripe is the positive. If im wrong, please let me know. Also on the pump output, there is a blue lead, and a brown lead. Which is which off of this wire? Thanks in advance for any help. It's hard to make sense of the broken english in the installation manual.

Polarity has no consequence- the pump will only pump up. If you wanted to be technically correct red stripe is positive and the brown is the european standard for positive, blue is the standard for common.

I got mine from ebay for $182 with a calcium dispenser as well. It already comes with a dosing pump. Normally the entire setup with the calcium dispenser runs in the $250-260 range.

I didnt know there was a tunze center in austin. where are u guys located. I go there practically one a month all the time. I used to live there too in Hyde Park. Never even knew there was a place, but then again I'm oblivious to things in life.

Not open to the public. However, AquaTek carries most all of the products and has many of them in use.
