I just purchased a 3155 to be used on my sump. Unfortunately the sump takes almost all of my cabinet so there is little room for a reservoir. Can the reservoir be located approximately 10-12 feet from the sump? Can the reservoir be higher than the sump or will this cause a syphon? Thanks

The reservoir cannot be higher than the sump, the hose must end higher than the water level of the reservoir.
Out of the box you get 9ft of hose and about as much wire to the pump. I dont recommend longer runs as they add more potential issues but you can extend the wire with speaker wire (this adds another connection that can corrode or come loose) and you can buy 32ft rolls of the tubing. The maximum head pressure for the pump is 8ft.
