Osmolator Magnets

Is it possible to purchase the new holders for the Tunze Osomolator 3155 and use them on an older model??? I have mine set up very strange right now with magnets and I would love to use the ones specifically designed for the system. If you can provide me a part number or link where to buy I'd appreciate it, thank you!

I am interested in this as well. I had to silicone my holder to the back glass in my Solana and have to remove it from time to time to service the return pump. The magnet would make it a lot easier.

The magnet holder that holds both sensors is part 3155.600, Salty Critter, AquaCave and Premium Aquatics have them, they cost about $33.

Roger, do you have a picture of how the magnet holder is suppose to hold both sensors? I ordered mine through AquaCave and I don't see how the one magnet can hold both sensors at the same time. Sorry for the confusion... they just mailed me a magnet in a box without any instructions and I was under the impression that I would only need one of these parts to hold both sensors.

I don't have a picture, but I think what you are missing is the float holder, which you will take from your existing holder and slide into the slot on your new magnet holder. We got these magnet holders before the official release, they have no box or instructions for now. We wanted to get some out for those who just had to have it, but the final packaging and manual wasn't ready. You can download the new osmolator manual on tunze.com and it will show how to do it. You just need part 3150.310 from your old holder to get up and running.

Thanks! I didn't notice that at first and in the mannual online some pictures show two different magnets side by side, one for each pump. I have it all set now, thank you.

Yes the osmolator comes with 2 magnet holders, the other is 3155.500, this is just another possible install if you wanted a greater distance between the sensors.

I think I may be in the same boat. I'm moving my osmolator to my third tank and would like to use a magnet this time. I have lost/siliconed in/etc several of the parts from the original brackets so really all I have that will hold a sensor is one sliding unit (3155.200).

What all do I need to get in order to use both sensors on one magnet mount?

The only part you need from your old holder is 3150.310, this part shouldn't be glued to anything, it slides into 3155.100 and will slide into the magnet holder the same way.

Hmm...I don't seem to have that part but like I said...its been a while and I have a big box of plastic parts

What I do have is it seems is 2 x 3155.200. One glued to the inside of a tank, and one one in my hand.

I'll go ahead and order the other part along with the magnet. You guys have already won me over as a long term customer. Thanks!

Thank you, it is not an expensive part. It is fairly small so you might double check, it is about the size of a quarter.
