Osmolator need Tech Support .....

I just bought a Osmolator thru Marine Depot Dent Sale and the returned Customer note said that he connected it and smelled like smoke:smokin:
but there was no smell, even someone in Customer Care said so too in the note. I Read other post on RC to see if maybe someone has the same problem on how to fix it and couldnt find any answers.:headwally:

So what I got 50G Cube w/ Sump/refugium.

I set up the two sensors with its individual magnets in my sump, one slightly below the other, Having the power supply connected to the outlet, the (pump on) light is on, and as soon as I connect the two colored cables the light goes off and does nothing. I tried switching the cables arround and does the same thing. I also tried moving the motor to give it a jump, with no success. I also wiped the blue sensor clean maybe alittle dirty.e

Can you Please help.

It sounds like a pump issue as it sounds like it works until you connect the pump. I think the best course though is to send it in, it could be the controller itself but if you have a friend you could borrow a pump from, you may find it is just the pump is locked up and a new pump is all you need.
