Osmolator Not Pumping (New out of box)

Just making sure I am not missing a step, followed the instructions in the manual to be sure. there is no obstructions in the line, I can blow through it, etc. the pump runs and moves water but as soon as the put the line on there it has yet to reach my tank. Does it just take this long the first time it is hooked up? Pump height is about 4ft.

The usual cause is the pump is just airlocked, tip it upside down under water while it is running and this should purge out the air trapped in the pump and prime it.
