Osmolator optic replacement

Hello,

It seems the optic sensor on my osmolator has gone bad. It reads that the water is level at all times. I have cleaned it, no change.

I looked online but cannot find a replacement. How can I order a new sensor?

Hi,

The sensor is a part that we'd need to replace for you. If the unit is out of warranty, then the cost to replace it is $34 plus shipping. If you're certain that is the problem then please send it in to:

Tunze USA
305 Victor Street
Austin, TX 78753

Please include your return address and a telephone number. We'll get in touch within a day or two of receiving it to arrange payment.

If you have any other questions, please just let us know.

I assume it is the sensor, the high level switch still works. The indicator light is constant, so it doesnt appear to be an electrical supply issue. Is there something else I should try? Can I disconnect the sensor if I open the unit?

It is out of warranty. I will try and take at look at it again this week and get it sent in.

The sensor can't easily be disconnected; it's soldered to the circuit board. It does sound like the sensor on yours needs to be replaced.
