Osmolator power supply dead

I have a 4 year old osmolator, and the power supply died on me, I went to Radio shack to try and replace it, and they said that they need to know the amperage to give me the correct device.
Does anyone know the pertenant info I need to track down a new power suppy, I could not find the info on the "instructions for use" guide.

Voltage is anything between 9-12V so you can get a 9V, 12V or switchable and some of the more modern electronic power supplies even come in 10 or 11V. It is DC, tip positive, 2.5 by 5mm tip. The power supply should be capable of supplying at least 1000mA. The power supply you have is 800mA but with the last pump change we added a double seal and the pump can now draw 900mA so we are supplying a bigger power supply and this may be needed when you change your pump someday in the future.

Roger, I am looking for one of these as well. Any suggestions on where to get one or do you guys sell replacement power supplies?

mine broke awhile back and tried RS, no luck. best bet is to order a new one from Roger.

It is part 5012.010, you can order it on Tunze.com. Alternatively, you can buy either a 9V DC 1000 or 1200mA power supply or a 12V 1600mA power supply at radio shack or Frys, it must be tip positive with 2.5 by 5mm tip.
