Roger, my power supply finally died on me (been a few years using this GREAT product!).
And now I need to replace it.
I had always ran it on 12v as you said it was fine to do.
My question, I have piles of power supplies laying around, but I don't know what mah is best to be used.
On that note, it seems that the plug for this that goes into the osmolator itself is NOT a common size! Do you know what the size/type is for it? I know radio chack has tons of this stuff, and even the adaptors for doing this as well.
I noticed a little corrosion on the end of the plug, so I am assuming that this is what was causing my latest issues with the unit being touchy about how I plugged it in. I had to wiggle just right before it would keep the power on.
I borrowed a power supply that happened to plug in, and it works perfectly again, no wiggling, etc.
But I have to give that one back, and I want one that matches up optimally.
Thanks again Roger.
