Osmolator problem

I've had a Tunze osmolator for about a year now. Been running smoothly, until about a month a go. Then it startet to make the beeping noise and both the red lights were flashing. I just pulled the plug ;) (cut off the power), and put it back in again. Everything worked fine until next day at about 11am. Same thing happend again and I did the same, and everything was fine again.
Thing is it still happens, and today I did a little experiment: When my two t5 actinics are switched on, the osmolator freaks out and according to the manual there's moist inside, which is not possible since it's over a feet from the aquarium mounted on the wall in my living room.

So, do you have any suggestions Roger?

It sounds like the ballasts are creating magnetic interference and causing a problem for the osmolator. I would move the ballasts and osmolator further apart and plug them into different circuits. This should fix it. You might also consider replacing the ballasts if it worked fine up until now.
