osmolator problem

all the lights go out. when i unplug then replug the controller back in, the yellow light comes on like it wants to add water, then all the lights go off again. what's the deal here?
edit: i think there's a problem connection between the power source and the controller.

Yes, likely the connector is loose or corroded. Check the plug for any corrosion (usually white or green scale).
