osmolator problems

i just got a new pump for my osmolator after a long time of not having one.
it is doing a good job of keeping the tank topped off but it seems to turn on every couple minutes even when the water level hasn't changed.
Any ideas as to why it might be doing this and how can i fix it

How long does it run for? My best guess would be bubbles on the sensor as the sensor cannot differentiate between being dry and attached bubbles.
