If you were to buy a replacement pump, Can this pump run for 10 hrs??? I wanna use it to dose kalk from my top off water reservoir, i know if its hooked up it will only run for like 2 mins and then shut off, but i was wondering if just powered up alone if it would be ok??? pump would be in plain RO water pumping to a kalk reactor.

even if you could do that - why would you run a kalk reactor for 10 hrs straight? You should only run the pump enough to get the solution to saturation.

The pump probably wouldn't last too long running for 10 continuous hours, it is meant for brief intermittent run cycles, I wouldn't run it for more than 15 minutes at a time.
