osmolator question

thinking about mounting my osmolator control unit via a rare earth magnet. would this affect the performance of the unit ?

Yes, it won't work, the controller cannot be near a magnetic field and the sensors are sensitive to magnetic fields as well. It will close the relay and cause the pump to run and the alarm to sound.
