Im looking for a way to dose Kalkwasser to my 75g. I dont have a sump, and all equipment needs to be kept under the stand. (so space is kinda limited) Ive read a few discoussions on the Osmolator and am wondering if this will be abble to do the trick. And if there is a place I could check out some pics of a setup. Thanks,
James

Oh yeah, there is enough room for a little bigger than a 5 gallon bucket under my stand.

I would recommend checking out one of 2 options. If you are satisfied with your current filtration look at the Osmomat 5024. This is the intank version of the Osmolator. You can learn more at www.tunze.com under other products and also under information you can download a PDF of the catalog which would be the most comprehensive.

If you are looking to start over on filtration I would get the ReefPack 500- this is also on the website. This is an Osmolator with Mechanical Filter, 427gph powerhead and Protein Skimmer all in one unit measuring 4.5 by 9 by 11 with a 4" skimmer cup sticking up from the aqurium- about the same size overall as a built in overflow box. The cost of this system is around $500 the Osmomat is about $200.

For either system you can add our Calcium Dispenser which is a very simplified version of a kalkwaser reactor it is article 5074 and you can also ind this on the website and in the PDF catalogue.

This is more what I was thinking. Just replace the Litermeter with the osmolator.

The osmolator works a bit different. It is actually measuring and precisely replacing evaporated water. The pump is also different as unlike a perastaltic pump the strongly alkaline kalk will damage the pump- the pump is 12V and $18 so alot of people do it anyway because you won't get shocked and they are cheap to replace. If you are set on that type of install the Litermeter III is your best option and it is a good product. Otherwise you will need an Osmomat and ideally a Calcium Dispenser and a 7gal bucket (Instant Ocean bucket or our reservoir 5002.25)
