Use a "standard" solenoid and get the adaptor for the osmolator that allows you to wire in any pump. Instead of wiring to the pump on the set, it wires to a plug.
You can do this but I don't recommend it. Just keep in mind if the solenoid fails you will wipe out your tank this way, not to mention the flooding, the reservoir limits the amount of damage that can be done by limiting the amount of available water. In my experience with all technical devices solenoids are one of the most failure prone their is.
I agree with roger in this respect. I would use a resemoir, standard osmolator setup. If you want to automate further, have your RO/DI fill the resevoir, use a latched relay and a secondary safety float switch.
