Osmolator stopped pumping to height

I already replaced the pump, removed the check valve, and checked the water line for clogs. But my Osmolator just will not push water to the same height it used to which is about 4 feet.

Worked for years. It still turns on and will pump water but it might get about 2 feet. Any higher and it doesn't seem to have the power to move the water.

Of course this happens just a few days before I'm supposed to go away for a week. Any ideas?

I would replace the pump, the pumps generally only last a few years. It is part 5000.020 and just about every major dealer stocks them, they are about $24. Closest to you would be Premium Aquatics, Champion Lighting or Amazon.

Yeah I did replace the pump it was the first thing I thought of. The result is the same.

Does this have to do with Voltage? I came across another post where you talk about newer power supplies and the controller needing to be upgraded.

The thing is in my case this gradually started happening. So do you think it's the power supply or the controller that could be the issue?

If your osmolator has a blue front (made since 2009) the voltage would not be an issue. If it is black with blue text, it could be an issue (2002-2007 were a lower voltage/amperage pump supply). It could be either, it could also just be that the wiring to the pump has some corrosion or the pump connectors so the resistance is very high.
