Osmolator stopped working

My osmolator stopped working a few days ago.
It does not notice that the water level has gone down or it's super-low.
I cleaned the sensor but stil nothing happens.
Pump works for 10 seconds if I unplug the unit and plug it back
Can I troubleshot it somehow? Or the unit is dead?

sounds like moisture or a fault on the board most likely not cost effective to repair how old is the unit?

Unit is about 3 years old

Roger,

Based on what I read, either the optical sensor died or the capacitor died.
I bought the unit back in Sep/2007.
How much would it cost to have the unit fixed?

Where do I have to send the unit to?
