I'm currently using kent float valves, but am switching to an electric one that will power a pump, its a longer story than i want to go into, but basicaly its because I dont trust kent floats with kalk water, they clog too often.
I'm trying to figure out what impact salt creep will have on those little electric float switches and on the osmolator.
What kind of maintanence does the osmolator require? Periodic cleaning? I also saw mention of micro bubbles affecting it, that is a concern for me since my skimmer does allow some micro bubbles back into the sump.
How long is the warranty on the osmolator and is there any information on failure rates or what the most common failure that occurs with it is?
