i was wondering if there's anyway to boost the pump pressure with the supply pump? at the moment i've got just a meter of head and it's barely making it to my sump...it's supposed to be rated to 2.2 meters by spec. any suggestions?

The old power supplies had a 9/12volt switch to boost the power. the new ones are only 9 volt, motor will last longer but.

i've got a power supply that's 9v/12v. can i just switch it to 12v and there will just be more power to the pump? i don't wanna ruin anything...

Switching it 12V will boost the output, it does shorten the pump life a bit though. Are you using a check valve or smaller hose? Normally the pump is plenty strong.

hmmm, not using a check valve but the hose is different so i could use a longer length. at the moment it's traveling about 1 meter across a wall and then 1 meter vertically. if it's ok to use on 12v maybe i'll try that or just try to switch out the hose to see if i get better flow. at any rate thanks for the help guys.

It should be able to do that, maybe the hose is too narrow or constricted some way. The unit came with 3m of hose and you can buy the same hose from Tunze in 10m length.

thanks again guys, just to update on the subject. i've put in a larger inside diameter hose and it's now moving much more volume.

cheers,
