I just bought an osmolator .. am I the only one who cant get the black feed hose over the barb of the pump? there doesnt seem to be any way to get it over.. its kind of rediculous

The line should go into the black line on the pump not over it. I have 3 of these systems running now and they all slip into the black tube on the pump.

I just checked the images on the marine Depot site and is there supposed to be a black sleeve that connects to the feed hose? If so I dont have one in my osmolator..

The sleeve should have come on the pump. Did you buy it new? Maybe the people you bought it from can help. If not I`m sure Roger here can help you get one

this is what I got.. looks just like this and there is no way that hose goes over. it will slip in some but it easily comes out

That white sleeve is the exact same as the black sleeve on mine. You just need to push the tube in pretty far and it hold. The pump really inst pushing a lot of pressure behind it. I`ve never had a problem with mine coming out....

The white sleeve replaced the black one earlier this year. The hose insert inside. It is easier to insert if you cut it at an angle .
