I was having problems when my reservoir had gone down some i could not get the pump to prime and fill up the tank just kept running and shutting off. I filled the reservoir back up and haven't had another problem yet what is the max head height. it is at about 4ft at the moment.

Another question is i bought the kalk attachment but i was having a problem with back flow preventing check valve either getting stuck open or closed any ideas or replacement parts. And do i need the check valve at the end of the top off to keep the pump primed?

The pump will usually need to be reprimed if it ever runs dry. The maximum head of the pump is 9ft. We are currently looking for a new check valve for the Calcium Dispenser. I can send you one like you have now and even though we now pretest the check valves they have a higher failure rate than we would like. Just about any airline check valve will do the job if you have one sitting around.

Maybe it just got some bubbles in it then b/c it did not run dry. Am i supposed to place the outlet tubing underwater or above the water? Yes if you would not mind sending me a new check valve as i think this one is defective. Thanks I can pm you the address if that works.
