No, as a safety it shuts down after 1.8 or 3 minutes (user adjustable). 3 minutes equates to about 3/4 gallon maximum and that is only enough for a 55 gallon total capacity. Basically it will turn itself off before it can completely refill the tank and only the 3155 would be suitable.
