osmoregulator/calcium dispenser

I'm confused how the calcium dispenser works with the osmoregulator DC pump. Can you explain how it works? Is the water delivered to the aquarium at full saturation with lime?

Also, is there anything special about the water resevoir bucket? Does it have any special features that I can't see in the drawing?

TIA.

Ok, the osmolator pump kicks on whenever the sensor detects a drop in water level. The dispenser is a sealed vesicle holding about 1L that mounts inline. You add 2-4tsp of Kalkwasser everytime you refill your reservoir. Because of contact, tangential injection and a bafle plate the kalkwasser is mixed to saturation. The reservoir is 27L, it is about the size of a lrg salt bucket. You will require a large bucket like this as the Calcium Dispenser must be mounted inside the reservoir. The corrosive nature of kalkwasser makes it innevitable that over time the plastic Calcium Dispenser could leak at any seams.
