OT: Anybody into RC Helicopters?

yep. I have 3 nitro copters, and concept 30sr, an old GMP king cobra 60, and a raptor 60. I just upgraded to a futauba 2.4 ghz radio setup, and it is FANTASTIC. the only copter that survived the fire was my raptor, it was at the hobby shop getting tuned. Anyway they are REALLY fun to fly ONCE you learn to fly them. I recommend a flight trainer for your computer or learn to buddy fly for about a year. They can be VERY expensive, but they really are fun!

I really want a vibe 50 with virtual flybar. That will have to wait though till I can hover my 450. I am decent in the sim, but that red reset button sort of takes away the pucker factor of the real thing.

I got the sim for my computer. It's seems a little touchy. I wonder how sensitive it is compared to my heli? Where do you live foreverreef? I think I just need to kick back and fly the sim maybe a cupple of months before I fly this heli.

Purple i am in Canal fulton ohio 44614...Would love to get together and fly, we could do a "reef and helis" club!

Keep working with the sim, they are actually very close to flying a heli. But like you said the reset button makes it all much better and cheaper!!
