OT: Anyone else like 4x4's?

I just got an 88 toyota 4x4 pickup, and was wondering if anyone else on here likes to go wheelin? I've wanted this truck since i was 13, and i finally have it. Time to shift to 4 high and go. Also, i'm planning a camping trip with my brother in law for mid August to Pismo Beach, and if you have a 4x4 and want to go duneing, you're invited.

I dig my 4wd diesel, but won't tear it up. Some day i'll have the extra dough to get a rock rig again. Used to have a 'cruiser as a daily driver, but sold as we needed 'practical'.

not much good for rock-crawlin', but I've got a Silverado Z-71 4X4.

oh, and i'm going to Pismo in early August...too funny. Though I will most likely be shredding in the quad rather than duning in the truck.

BTW,

You were right about the pencil urchin. He is a one man wrecking crew. He knocked over everything in my QT tank and dislodged some frags from the plugs. I have named him " Pig Pen" b/c everywhere he goes turns to poo.

I have a 03 rubicon. I used to do a lot of class 4 and class 5 trails. Pirate is cool, but offroaders are not as nice as reefers. I watched a member of pirate, wheel over another member after a guy broke his driveshaft at the gatekeeper on the 'con.

Yeah Pirate tends to be a little brash, but definitely a wealth of info.

Shiveley when are you going to Pismo? I may have to actually pick a date instead of talking about it.
