OT - Anyone have any empty beer bottles?

I've been brewing my own beer and I'm in need of some empty brown glass bottles with pop tops (no twist offs). I've got an imperial stout that's ready for bottling and I've slacked on my drinking, so I'm out of empties. If anyone has some bottles that they could bring to the meeting, it would be greatly appreciated!

Don't need the tops, just the bottles themselves. I have new caps that will get crimped on them. Are you going to the meeting? If so, can you bring them with you? Thanks Sandra!

Too bad we all can't bring a 6 pack to the meeting...I'm sure by the end you'd gave quite a few empties ;)

sent from never never land...

Go to the bottle return. Wait for someone with a lot of bottle. Give em 5 bucks for the whole cart. Return the screw tops. Keep the others.

I have a nice bottle washer if you ever want to borrow.

Swanny, I have enough flip tops in my garage for a whole batch. I stopped brewing beer when we moved into this house. I've been trying to get back into it. I'm not too far away. Can drop them off or we could meet somewhere.

If you don't get what you need stop in and see the guys at Brew and Wine hobby in East Hartford. They are very helpful and usually have everything you need in stock. I haven't been into the new store since they moved a couple of months ago.

Very nice guys that pride themselves on customer service.

Name a price and I'll head up to Torrington some time to grab them.

froman they moved again? or are they still in that same building?

They moved from the location that was near the hot tub/spa retailer and the molly maid location. I believe they are ~3/4 mi down the road. The website has an updated address and a picture of the new place.

Scott, if you're ever down in the Milford area I can offer what I have. I was prepping for another brew with my neighbor but it may be awhile. I've got about a case (24) of Sam Adams bottles already delabeled and rinsed plus another dozen or so that need to be cleaned.

that brew sounds good. what's the percentage?

Thanks for all the offers everyone, but I think I should be all set with the few I'm grabbing at the meeting.

I believe the target ABV is 13-14%, but I haven't taken ahydrometer reading yet to see what mine is at. It's been in secondary for 3 months, so I've been reluctant to test it for fear of an infection.
