OT: anyone interested in a bike? 2000 zx6r

what the heck is a window regulator? sounds like you need to park the jeep and ride the bike. rode mine down the beach today. very nice. ok for all those that question I was on the road traveling parallel along the beach

damn you shoulda said something....haven't done crap all day but take out the window regulator. Anyway, the regulator is what the motor and window attaches to, the bow and arrow looking thing...has a cable running through the middle of it. It's an EXPENSIVE piece of SH*# in shortterms

hehhe no kidding. back to work tomorrow unfortunately. I need to order a jacket so i can ride when it is cooler out. of course I had shorts and a t shirt today.

yea I hear ya, I can't do the jacket thing...I'm always in jeans and a shirt like a dumba## I might go for a ride here in a bit, release some agression..lol

yeah right be caeful. I am the tshirt guy myself. on hot days I wera shorts. i try not to push the bike too hard knowing I am not protected as well as I could be. then again I have my moments.

Hate to break up the Kawi party but you are basically riding a suzuki. Kawi and Suzuki merged R&D a few years back. Suzuki uses Kawis off road technology and Kawi uses Suzukis sport bike technology. If you couldnt tell i am a Suzuki guy. Have been for 8 years. I think beating someone in a race is all about the rider. I ride an 03 750 and have taken out R1's and gsxr 1000's.
The scene here is huge especially on saturday nights. Like rob says its best to get away from most of them and go and ride the twisties. There are alot of newbies out there that cant ride and dangerous situations.

hehehe last time we rode to brooksville myself and a couple other guys were ahead of the last 2 riders. we weren't going very fast but faster than these guys. the one guy has been riding almost a year I think and went around some turn . well actually he was supposed to. he went straight off and didn't even turn at all. luckily he landed on a down grade and just slid. I thought it was funny because the other guy with him went around one handed without trouble.

I'll prolly end up upgrading bikes soon enough...Gettin the itch again.

only thing I have against the gixxer is everybody has one. I don't want the confusion when we ride and I try to get on my bike and have to try the key to figure it out I thought the kaw was a little more comfirtable for me. that is the only reason I picked it over the gixxer besides everyone had one.

I had an ex friend do the same thing on patterson rd. He ran his mouth saying he was so good and didnt even make it thru the second turn. He went straight off into the trees. We were waiting at the end and he and another friend didnt show. We went back and he had left his bike laying in the dirt and rode home on the back of the other bike. I had to go get my truck and go back and pick his bike up.
