they are not poisonous

they are in the wild from eatting plants and termites

thats exactly what i try to tell myself everytime i start looking at them. ive been checking out the dart frogs for about 6 months now and trying everything i can to stay away from them

I had 4 in a 55 gal aquarium....they are just adorable!

But you either have to grow fruit flies or have itty bitty crickets to feed them...and that quickly can become a pain.

And yes, you are right, the dart frogs lose thier poison abilities after becoming a "house pet", their diet is what makes them poisonous.

i will make my own cage and will have a adult pair in the next few weeks
