OT: banking

I use UMB bank. I love thier service and I know checking is free and I think billpay is to but the branch in Winghaven near my house also has a reef tank setup for the kids to look at.

I have US Bank and they've been fine (I opened an account when I moved to Rolla so that I could have ATM access without fees). I also have Vantage Credit Union who have been great and they actually have decent interest rates on their savings accounts unlike the big banks... but they don't have many ATM's like US Bank. I've been happy with both.

I use West Community Credit Union. I have been vary happy since being with them. They first pull from your savings for Overdraft and if there is not enough there they cover you up to 500 (I think could be more or a hundred less) you still have the fees. Like 3 bucks if there is money in your savings and 20 bucks if there is no money in either account. Free Bill pay and account access online. If you need to make deposits you can also go to any Aerospace credit Union, it has a shared branch.

With Vantage Credit Union and most other Credit Unions, you can use almost any other Crdit Union ATM and not be charged a fee. That is one of the benefits of being a credit union member.

We bank at Vantage, and I cannot remember the last time I actually used a Vantage ATM. I have used AB CU and Arsenal CU ATMs with no fees.
