Can any of you guys reccomend unfinished furniture stores or stores that have good prices on platform beds ?

I am looking for one that looks similar to this one

Swedish crap that's made in China. I just bought a couple table lamps there. Always hot chicks shopping there.;)

yeah thats true. Actualy Roxy the bed that you have there i jumped on it at Ikea and it had those support beams and barely jumped on it and the top right corner came off. i was so embarrased because there was like 10 people around me on a saturday morning. The lady came over and told me oh dont worry about that your the 3rd person to do that today its no screwed in all the way. So i told her then it should not be in the show room :)

should of rolled on the ground and said my neck my neck

dude..get ready to get bruises on your legs from bumping into the edges. or maybe it's just me but i always end up banging my knee or shin on the sides hahaha. i'd try ikea for sure....

I went to ikea yesterday nothing like that bed posted their beds are low to the ground I want mine higher

Sigh I hope it does not take me long to find the right bed.

Kerry... I have this one for sale in Queen size:

It's in my mattress store. Floor sample, price for you would be $299. Problem is pick up from Victorville. All metal and faux leather padded headboard in a dark mocha.

That would be nice but I need a ful size a queen is too big for my room

YGPM tho

J-Bass, you're right about the hot chicks part.. but most of these girls are either engaged or married. they drag their boyfriends to IKEA on a Saturday morning so they can "beautify" their bedroom together. You know how it goes...

When you guys go to IKEA make sure you visit the AS-IS section. You can always snag some cheap furnitures there and some DIY parts for your tank. It's like a MarineDepot sale, only it's a furniture version :D

It's not the bed's fault....................it's the mullet I tell ya..... :lmao:

there used to be a place in canoga park called "al's bedroom city" or something like that, good starter bedroom furniture and big selection
i just tried googling them and it pulled up a location in NoHo so maybe they moved, i would call first and see if they have anything that you're looking for

You mentioned "unfinished"; given any thought to just MAKING one? Something like that wouldn't be all that hard to do design-wise. I'm sure some of us have a table saw and could toss something together in fairly short order...

Just a thought.

I would but then I have to sleep on this retarded air mattress longer and my shoulders and back is sore every morning. :( :(

If I had mor patients I would just make one seriously cause some of these prices are ridicoulous for just a bed frame
