What should I do?

Yea dude that defintaley needs profesional help.

In they yellow book go to PEST CONTROL and get that taken care of ASAP. You definatley dont want to find if yourself/kids are allergic to those stings.

Find a local bee keeper in your area and ask if they will come and get them, I had it done and it was free. All honey bees follow the queen, once the bee kepper gets the queen in the box the worker bees will follow her. This is probably a swarm from a local hive so there has to be a bee keeper in your area.

Call your city vector control if they hang out for awhile...that's what they are there for.

Good chance they will be gone in a day

I got a swarm hit me last summer, they will usually go away within a day or two. If they decide to stay, then contact vector control.

If you call a professional to get rid of them they will charge you about $300. Just leave them alone and they usually go away in a few hours.
We used to get swarms of bees like that at our job last year. Our company used to hire somebody to get rid of them. After so may times of hives arriving at our job we just used to throw rolls of tape at the hive. Not the smartest thing to do but very effective of disrupting the hive and they usually leave after that.

There is a guy out of Riverside that will use no chemicals on a hive like that. He is pretty eccentric and has lots of stories to tell. He is cheap and will take the hive and use it for his bee farm. He is not afraid of bees like chemical spraying Vector control workers. He will grab that nest bare handed in a pair of shorts and tee shirt. That is of course if they honey bees, not africanized bees. His service is called:

Bob's Bee Farm & Swarm Rescue
(951) 377-4002

He normally charges 100 bucks or so. I am not sure what he would charge for a trip to OC, but it's better than 300. That nest will take him 10 minutes to clean out. He works at night when all the bees are at the hive.

I think this is the same guy that came to our job. Hes in his 60's wears shorts and a tshirt. Hes definitely not afraid of the bees. If this is the same guy he charged our company about $300, but they rushed him in during the afternoon. Maybe thats why he charged a little bit more. This guy had us entertained with his stories for about an hour or so. Very nice guy.

u can buy a can of bee killer from the supermarket made by raid... the range on the can is at least 20 feet, which is plenty... just point, shoot and spray... then walk away...

Bad Santa,

Bob from Bob's bee service seems to be in his mid to late 40s or so. I don't think he is even close to being in his 60s.
