DRINK BREW AT THE ZOO FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Powell, OH "“ Go wild for beer at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's Brew at the Zoo, hosted by Friends of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium on August 28, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. This 21 and over event will feature live music by the Nate McDonough Band, 12 samples of beer, delicious appetizers, raffle prizes, Zoo animals and more.
Tickets are $35 through August 23 and $45 after August 23. Members of the Columbus Zoo can purchase tickets for $30 through August 23. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's conservation and education programs.
Friends of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a volunteer organization for adults committed to supporting the Zoo as ambassadors dedicated to educating the public about the Zoo's conservation mission.
Brew at the Zoo is presented by Barley's Smokehouse and Brew Pubs. To order tickets to Brew at the Zoo please visit www.columbuszoo.org.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open every day of the year 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. after Labor Day. General admission is $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 2 to 9 and seniors 60+. Children under 2 and Columbus Zoo members are free. The Zoo was named the #1 Zoo in America by USA Travel Guide and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA.)
