What are some companies who have a good deal for ages 20-25?
My first car was not in my name and we used my aunts insurance for a cheap rate.

So this will be my first actual car insurance

I have esurance cheapest i found for a male 23 years old with a clean driving record. Might try getting a quote from them to see how they compare.

you can get quotes for most places online in a matter of minutes, i use geico myself. just go to the websites of geico, esurance, etc and get a quick quote.

I think you are right I did a quote with them and got something lower than geico . Einsurance was 208 ? geico 282 ? It seems hight to me or is that normal for someone in my age group ?

What should be added to a basic insurance ?

IMO takes too long info wise to get a quote this is the only reason why I asked I dont want all these insurance places calling me up or mailing me junk mail.

As far as coverage beyond the minimum required by law it depends on what you want to pay to protect. If you owe on the car you'll need additional coverage to satisfy the lien holder.

Cheapest insurance really depends on your specific situation (tickets, accidents, car, coverage desired). Wawanesa is probably the lowest basic rates for young drivers - at least it was 10 years ago when I was single. Geico is supposedly cheapest for high risk drivers, but Mercury was lowest for me.

Wawanesa... look them up. Nobody beats them...

++++1! I've been with them for years. Best rates, hands down!

They quote policies for 12mo instead of 6 months. Don't be surprised if they are less than half of other quotes.
