Mette Nelson -- Big Scott's wife-- passed away saturday night at 6:25 pm. She had been in a coma since Friday.

I spoke to Scott today. Mette's remains are to be cremated and half returned to her native home in Denmark, where her family still lives.

If you had never had the privledge, Mette was slight of build and shy. She enjoyed people, but did not ask for the spotlight. She was gentle and frail and had been sick quite a while. She will be missed by those she touched, and especially by Scott.

Scott says he is not doing well and could use some contact. Just moved into his apartment and cannot get online having lost the power cord to his computer.

That's horrible! I'll have to try to get in touch with Scott as soon as I can. Mette was a WONDERFUL lady. We really enjoyed her and Scott's company very much. My heart definitely goes out to both of them and their families.

I just talked to Scott. He is not doing well as would be expected after losing his sweet wife. He did say his best friends are on RC and he would really appreciate anyone that calls. He hopes to have the power cord for his computor in the next few days so he can get on line. Please keep Scott in your thoughts and prayers.

Anyone that has a 40 breeder tank that they are not using Scott could use one. This would be a nice donation to make to help him out.

i am very saddened by Scott's loss and by no means is the thread off topic at all. Mette and Scott have been a regular at COMAS meetings for a long time and she has always been a very gracious lady.

Comas lost a friend.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I knew she was having health issues, but it still seems sudden. She was a very nice woman and I enjoyed seeing her at the COMAS meetings.

thanks for all the kind words..thoughts an prayers..i return to work tomm..my days are getting better..but my nights are still verry painful..mette anjoyed meeting new people..she had many friends here on comas..she bascailly passed here on the couch.. an the EMTs brought her back..after many minutes of no oxygen..its better that she went to where she is now..the hardest thing ive ever done was turning off her bloodpressure machine..that way she wasent fighting for her breath..an yes i turned it off , not the doctors or the nurses..walking out of that room an leaving her there just about killed me..she was more than my wife she was my best friend..an i so miss her..
