The weather was really weird and was snowing most of the afternoon, but it finally cleared right before sunset. This was sunset on Half Dome last night.

Nice! I almost went this weekend, too!

This shot... you either did some hiking in the Bridalveil falls area or had a decently long lens and shot from the tunnel exit turnout, right?

BTW, are the waterfalls flowing full speed yet? I need to get up there very, very soon.

Beautiful pic of a beautiful place! When we went (in the summer), there was minimal snow, but the waterfalls were all flowing very strongly. Thanks for sharing

We went back again yesterday and hiked to the top of Yosemite Falls like we had planned on doing last weekend. Here are some pics from the trip:

No fair! If you're going to post pictures this nice, no stripping out the XIF information!

Focal length, shutter, aperture, EV, ISO...?

Pretty much all of the pics were with the 24-70 f2.8 during the day, in RAW Landscape mode at ISO100, f/10-f/11, and whatever shutter speed gave me a reasonably exposed pic (stopped down slightly). I just pulled up the EXIF on one of the waterfall / half dome pics, and it was at 24mm and 1/60th of a second. The shot at the top of the falls with the moving water was at f/16 with a 0.5sec exposure. The night shots were all with the 15mm f/2.8 fisheye at ISO400 f/2.8 for about 60 secs. I think the second to the last pic (the night shot with Half Dome in the background) is my favorite of all the pics I've taken with this new cam, and I was very disappointed to realize that a car drove by while it was exposing that I didn't notice at the time. I had to try to touch it up a little, but otherwise all of the pics are untouched and you can see the dust on the sensor if you look at the sky closely (unfortunately).

Oh I should add that I found a little hitchhiker on my backpack the morning after I got home and took a pic of it at 5X with the MP-E (well over a dozen attempts to get this and then I gave up). You guys who said this lens takes alot of practice and patience weren't kidding!
